Gaya permainan Patty Giurleo, dijabarkan oleh Brett Milano of the Boston Phoenix sebagai "an occasional vocal resemblance to Joni Mitchel and a preference for the floating, not-quite-pretty kind of tunes that Mitchell wrote in her post-waif, pre-jazz period". Album "Ensemble" merupakan CD keduanya setelah debut "Longtime" tahun 1988. Direkam dibawah label 449 Records, sembilan lagu dirangkai dalam album yang dirilis tahun 2001 ini.

Secara keseluruhan album ini, menampilkan permainan gitar akustik yang cukup dominan. Ditingkahi vokal yang terbilang lumayan, tentunya dibarengi permainan drum, upright bass dan piano serta saksofon. Nomor-nomor 'The winner loses All', 'I love you so I leave You alone', 'Radiant City' disajikan dengan gaya yang tak jauh berbeda. Patty menyanyikan lirik demi lirik dengan suara yang lirih.

Permainan gitarnya memang cukup menarik. Dalam nomor 'My Foolish Hear', ia bermain solo. Sementara pada 'I Fallin Love Too Easily' sentuhan brush stick Scott Eisenberg dan tiupan Saksofon Timo Shanko terasa romantis. Nomor cantik lain adalah 'Galliano', dibuka dengan permainan gitar Patty yang justru terasa menarik dengan olah vokalnya.
